Liza's Review:
The First Kiss of
Spring is another winner
in the Eternity Springs series for books. I have enjoyed each of the books I’ve
read in the Eternity Springs series to date. I know I am guaranteed a sweet and
emotional romance and The First Kiss of Spring have me what I was looking for.
I adored both Caitlin and Josh from the moment we met them both.
I loved how they just clicked from their very first meeting. They had really
great chemistry and yet they maintained a sweetness to their relationship as
well.
I loved how Caitlin knew what she wanted to do and moved home to
make her dreams come true, even when her parents didn’t see eye to eye with her
decision. I didn't love they questioned Caitlin's decision because her
dream wasn't their dream. I understood their concern for Caitlin changing
careers, but wanted them to support her decision faster. I
also hated to see her parents were keeping secrets about her dad's health
from Caitlin and her brothers, but understood their need to know what was going
on before sharing the news.
I was glad to see Caitlin had Josh in her corner along with so
many friends in Eternity Springs. I absolutely adored seeing Caitlin and Josh
grow closer and closer the more time they spent together and it kind of broke
my heart when Josh started pushing Caitlin away rather than being honest about
his issues. I got he was embarrassed about what he was going through, but I
hated seeing him push Caitlin away rather than let her know what was really
going on with him. I actually fell a bit more for him once he was honest about
everything he was struggling with than when he seemed perfect.
The First Kiss of
Spring was a sweet and
emotion filled romance that gave me all the feels. Emily March has become a
go-to author for me since I discovered this series and I look forward to each
new book she writes. I highly recommend her books to readers who love emotion
filled romances.
