Resonance Surge is the latest release in the Psy-Changeling Trinity series by Nalini Singh. This series remains one of my favorites ever, and I loved we got more than one romance in Resonance Surge. As the parings in this story are between Psys and shifters, it was total catnip for me, since those are my favorite pairings in the series. Add in we are back with the bears, and I was totally in my happy place.

Pavel and Arwen have been in a mating dance for some time, and I've loved watching them find their way in their own time as a couple. Pavel's twin Yakov has been seeing the same woman in his dream since he was sixteen. Enter Theo Marshall, twin to Pax Marshall who is sent to discover what went on at The Centers, places that were established by their grandfather. Yakov is the one to help Theo learn more about The Centers, and about her past while working together. I liked the slow burn of their relationship. Theo had really only ever had the connection with her twin Pax for most of her life, and even that was somewhat a secret between them, so I loved seeing her come into her own the longer she was with Yakov (Yasha),

I had all the happy feels watching the 2 couples find their happily ever afters. My heart broke the more we learned about Theo's past with her grandfather, and while I liked we weren't beaten over the head with the Scarab issues, I do see Pax Marshall and his neurological issues being at the forefront of what happens next with the Scarab Queen. Resonance Surge was a really great addition to the Psy-Changeling Trinity series, and I can't wait for the next installment next year.

Last Guard is the newest book in the popular Psy-Changeling Trinity series from Nalini Singh. In Last Guard we learn about another Psy designation, Anchors, which has never been mentioned as an important designation in past books. 

The pairing of Canto Mercant and Payal Rao is a Psy-Psy paring, which is sometimes a challenging pairing for me. I honestly felt like Last Guard moved slowly for about the first half of the book. I really loved that Canto and Payal had saved each other as children, but hated they had been kept apart for much of their lives. Where Canto was welcomed back into the Mercant family and always protected, Payal was constantly challenged and threatened by her older brother and her father. 

I have to say I saw so much growth of each character once they were reunited in Last Guard. I really felt they needed one another to realize their true need in both the PsyNet, and in the world itself. They seemed to complete one another in a way no one else in their lives ever had. Canto raised with love had the appearance of being soft at times, even though he truly had a will of steal. Payal was so much more than I expected when the book started. I found myself wanting to learn more and more about her, and was on pins and needles anytime she was near her father or brother. I did end up falling in love with Canto and Payal as a couple, but it took a while to get there.

The Architect continues to keep me guessing. I feel like once I find out who she really is, I'm going to be like of course she is, but at this time she is still a mystery to me, and I can't wait to see all she tries in the next Psy-Changeling Trinity book. Nalini Singh left me wanting more, and I'm already counting down until the next Psy-Changeling book is released next year.

Alpha Night is the newest addition to the amazing Psy-Changeling series from Nalini Singh. My absolute favorite pairing remains when the couple has on Psy and one Changeling. Add in the fact we had a female Alpha Changeling and a Psy Arrow, and Alpha Night was complete catnip for me!

Selenka Durev is the wolf Alpha of the BlackEdge pack. Ethan Night is an Arrow, who is damaged so he doesn’t really feel like a true Arrow. When they meet at a symposium in Selenka’s city, her wolf recognizes Ethan as her mate, and they have mating at first sight. I absolutely loved the journey Selenka and Ethan took in Alpha Night. Selenka and her wolf sense something is different about Ethan. I loved how quickly Selenka and Ethan accepted one another as mates, even as they each had much to learn about and from one another. Their courtship to HEA gave me all the happy feels.

With each new book in the series, I feel like we learn a bit more about how the Architect, Consortium, and the rapidly destabilization of the PsyNet are all intertwined. I also felt like we learned the Architect was a woman in the book..if it had been revealed before, I had missed it.

Alpha Night is another winner from Nalini Singh! The romance was filled with emotions and beauty, and there was just enough action to keep readers on the edge of their seats

I think I'm in the minority of Nalini Singh readers who started with her Guild Hunter series over her Psy-Changeling series. I love both series so much, but the Guild Hunters series, and especially Elena and Raphael hold a special place in my heart. 

Archangel's War picks up shortly after Archangel's Prophecy ended. I was so happy when Archangel's War hit my kindle, as the cliffhanger at the end of Archangel's Prophecy just about killed me! I needed to know that Elena and Raphael were both okay and even knowing I couldn't start it right away, I did read to find out that yes they were both okay, yet Elena was changed to survive Cassandra's prophecy. I won't lie, I totally breathed a sigh of relief and knew I was about to have a very bumpy ride  with this story.

I have to say while I liked Archangel's War, I didn't love it as I have others in the series. Yes I loved time with Elena and Raphael, and it can't be said enough how much I loved time with my Bluebell. However, I felt like it moved really slowly up to the actual battle. I get there were many changes thanks to the Cascade, but I also almost felt like there was information overload at times. I started to have trouble keeping up with what changes were happening in which territory. I did love all the time we had with Elena and Raphael and had all the happy sighs each time they were together on the page.

We learned more about the Hummingbird and I loved seeing her in a way we had only heard about before. I will say I was pretty surprised by what broke her after seeing her in the present. She seems more like a warrior now, and I hope that warrior instinct stays with her going forward. Honestly by the time we made it to the actual battle, I really wanted Lijuan to die a fast and ugly death. I just felt like the battle lasted forever...and really thought Raphael should have figured things out a bit sooner. 

Overall I enjoyed Archangel's War despite my few issues. I'm so glad there will be more books in the Guild Hunter series, as I need more from all of my favorite characters. I felt like the ending was very satisfactory, and I look forward to where Nalini Singh takes the Guild Hunter world in the future.

I was so excited to see we would be back with the SnowDancer and DarkRiver packs in Wolf Rain. While I love branching out into other parts of the world and packs from other areas, I have to say being with these two packs always makes my heart happy. Add in a kick-ass Psy in Memory, and you had me in my happy place.

I loved Memory was a fighter from the moment Alexei discovered her in a prison deep underground in SnowDancer territory. Yes she is initially fearful and slow to trust him, yet with her emphatic abilities, she sees parts of Alexei he can't even see about himself. I was pulled into this story quickly as I could feel their connection from the moment they met. They were both attracted to one another, and it seemed like they each found a sense of peace just being near the other. I worried they each would let past experiences shape the possibility of their future together, as Memory had been forced to work with a psychopath and him concerns of following in his brother's footsteps and becoming rogue. I loved that Alexei saw a strength in Memory from the beginning she didn't even see in herself.

I honestly felt like this book was written more along the lines of the earlier books in the series and I just felt like I was coming home. I adore the Psy-Changeling series so much and it was fun to see some of my favorite characters from past books, while still having Memory and Alexei's story as the focus of the story. I loved seeing Memory grow stronger with both her Psy abilities and her inner strength with each passing day. She made so many connections with new friends for the first time in her life and you could see her blossom on the page. Alexei seemed to change the more time they were together, as it seemed like wolf recognized Memory even before he did. With so many men in Alexei's family going rogue and Memory witnessing her mother's murder then being imprisoned by said murderer, they each had many emotions to work through. While they each had understandable anger issues, they seemed to work through them better when together. 

 I'm glad to see with the new E sub-designation, the Psy are seeing a light at the end of a very dark tunnel when it comes to stabilizing the PsyNet, Not that Memory can do it alone, but I felt like they at least have a chance to keep the PsyNet going a bit longer thanks to Memory. 

The Psy-Changeling series remains one of my favorites and an auto-buy for me. I love it so much I tend to buy in both print and audiobook. Wolf Rain was a wonderful addition to the Psy-Changeling series of books filled with action, romance, laughter, and tears.

The Guild Hunter books were the first series of books I read from Nalini Singh. I absolutely fell in love with Elena and Rafael from the moment I started the series. I devour each new book as soon as it hits my kindle. I usually finish reading a book from Nalini Singh and immediately start talking about it on social media and telling everyone to read it as soon as it comes out. I firmly believe once again readers should devour Archangel's Prophecy, but with one major warning...be prepared for the cliffhanger of all cliffhangers. I seriously wanted to email Ms. Singh as soon as I finished reading to beg for the next book right now!

I absolutely adored getting another book with Rafael and Elena as the focus. There is just so much more we learn with each new installment in this world, but it seems like we get more and more changes in the world when the book focuses on Rafael and Elena. I love we get to see so many favorite characters from the series and especially got to spend time with Bluebell. The world has grown so much since the first book, yet Ms. Singh keeps the interactions with the different characters on point every single time. I loved the number of times I actually laughed out loud while reading this book; especially with how intense it was much of the time. Ms. Singh gave her readers a book that will keep them on the edge of their seats wondering what will happen next. So many times I kept thinking OMG could it get any more intense?!?! The ultimate answer being absolutely!!! 

I won't lie, when I reached the end of the book, I kept hitting my kindle screen believing there had to be more to the story. I needed more to the story. I'm honestly not a huge fan of a cliffhanger usually, but have to say this one was done so well. I was completely surprised by so much in this book, yet once again it only made me want to be back in the Guild Hunter world soon. I highly recommend the Guild Hunter series to fans that love Paranormal Romances.

Hair rippling in the quiet but cutting wind, he twisted down in a complicated fall before flying back up to her side. She laughed at his showing off. That was Illium. Nalini Singh has been an auto-buy author since I read the very first Guild Hunter book many years ago. Her books pull me in from the very first page and I don't want to put them down until I've read the entire book. Rebel Hard was absolutely another winner from Ms. Singh.

I pretty much fell in love with Raj the moment he appeared on the page. Once I found out his family history, it just cemented my love for him. Nayna Sharma was equally as lovable in my eyes. I loved that while neither one of them really wanted to have an arranged marriage happen for them, they both stepped up to allow their parents to try to make one work, both due to different types of family obligations. Raj, being the older brother still being unmarried and Nayna being the younger daughter still unmarried after her older sister's disastrous first marriage. The fact they had actually met at a party before their parents introduced them absolutely had me laughing out loud.

While there was pretty much an instant attraction between Nayna and Raj, I loved they really did take their relationship pretty slowly overall. More love for Raj for seeing Nayna for who she really was and not pushing her into something that would cage her in, no matter how much pressure they received from both sets of parents. Nayna almost broke my heart giving up so many of her own dreams to try and be the perfect daughter for her parents. I was so glad that Raj actually saw all she was giving up for her family and had no issues backing her on each new idea and adventure she had in mind.

Rebel Hard was such a fun story to read. I laughed so much as I read this story and had all the happy sighs as well. This book was like crack from the moment I picked it up and I couldn't put it down. I literally read every single possible minute I had available until I finished Rebel Hard and then I wanted to re-read it all over again. I loved it so much; I can't wait to buy the audiobook so I can listen to it as soon as it is released. Fans of Nalini Singh will adore this book and while it is the second book in the Hard Play series, I believe readers could pick it up with no issues and read it first.

Ocean Light is the newest release in the Psy-Changeling series from Nalini Singh and picks up about 8 weeks after Silver Silence ends. With Ocean Light we finally get a book with major focus on BlackSea changelings, and I couldn't be happier.

Ocean Light is Bowen and Kaia's story and they form a bond pretty much from the first moment they see one another. While Bo is the head of the Human Alliance and lives on land, Kaia is a BlackSea changeling who lives in the deepest part of the ocean. I loved these two such different individuals hated to be apart from one another so quickly. Of course the fact that Kaia is the one to inform Bo he might have a trader in the midst of the Alliance was a bit of a strain for a time. All evidence available to Black Sea is pointing to someone in the Alliance being responsible for the missing members of the BlackSea clan. I loved that while Bo trusted his people, he didn't brush off the evidence and immediately wanted to investigate, even while waiting to see if the procedure to stabilize the chip in head will work.

I was completely charmed by Ocean Light. I can't say that I wanted Bowen to get his book right now, but as soon as I met Kaia, I knew there was no other individual that was more perfect for him. Watching them fall for one another gave me all the happy feels, even as I knew they had so many challenges ahead of them. They were very open with communication and really did seem to be real friends before moving on and becoming lovers. 

The mystery of the Consortium and who is running it remains as strong as ever. Yes we are learning a bit about those individuals who would sell out their people to help them, yet I didn't feel like we saw any solid leads to the group. I do feel like we made strides with the Alliance, Psy, and Changelings being true allies for the future.  I also loved that we finally learned more about the water changelings. While they are still a bit of a mystery, I have to say spending so much time with BlackSea did answer some questions I've had about the group since we first met them. 

I really enjoyed Ocean Light and thought it was a wonderful addition to the series. It was filled with romance, action, and intrigue.

Cherish Hard was another wonderful story from Nalini Singh. Ms. Singh became an autobuy author for me from the moment I read my very first book in Guild Hunter series. I found I've fallen in love with her contemporary romances every bit as much as I love her paranormal romances.

I adored both Sailor and Ísa from the moment we met them both. I loved that Ísa rebounds and becomes so much stronger after she is treated so badly by an ex-boyfriend. I also loved that Sailor wanted to beat up the jerk from the moment he was so very terrible to Isa. I thought it was so sweet that Sailor recognized Ísa as soon as he saw her again.

Ísa is such a special characters. She is way stronger than the sees herself and is truly the glue that holds her family together. I loved she became even stronger once Sailor was in her life and thought his influence only made her fight for what she wanted for herself and her siblings even more.

The chemistry between Ísa and Sailor was pretty strong from the moment she approached Sailor at her school. I loved the fact that she made the first move, even if it was because she didn't realize she would see Sailor again. The seemed to get each other really well even before they moved their working relationship to a more intimate one, and I really thought it helped them to be such a strong couple when there really could have been so many thing that could have kept them apart. 

Cherish Hard was a good start to the Hard Play series. I enjoyed the romance between Ísa and Sailor very much. I look forward to spending more time with Ísa, Sailor, and their friends and family in future books.
