Liza’s Review:
I wanted Tristan and Lemon's story from the moment we met them
both in Love So Hot. I knew there had to be something behind all their
bickering and couldn't wait to get the entire story. Love So Tempting was completely worth the wait!
Let me just say I wanted Tristan and Lemon as a couple from the
first time I saw them together. I just knew there was more to the story and I
adored watching them figure out how to have a relationship. I think Lemon is my
favorite of the McCoy sisters. She is such an independent person, even though
she still lives in her family home. I love that she has her own nail salon
business and makes no excuses for being a beauty queen. Hello, we are in the
South, and we love our beauty queens. Lemon is the most laid back person on the
face of the planet except when it comes to Tristan Lawson.
I think part of the reason I adored Tristan from the beginning
is the fact that the big bad Marine became a librarian. I have so much love for
intelligent men and add one who loves books and loves to read books to
children, and I'm sold. Tristan was totally that charming man with everyone
except Lemon. They love to antagonize one another and yet I could totally feel
the underlying chemistry between them.
I'm pretty sure I might have cheered when they initially
hooked up and absolutely loved finding out about their past as each remembered
the letters they shared while Tristan was deployed. I even loved that Lemon got
pregnant and forced Tristan to step up and admit his feelings for Lemon and for
Lemon to admit her feelings for Tristan. I honestly hated that someone had told
them lies in the past to keep them apart, and really can't say I'm over my
anger at the character yet.
I loved that Tristan and Lemon got a second chance to get their
happily ever after right. I had all the good feels for them as a couple and
really felt like they were a stronger couple in the end. Love So Tempting is a beautiful second chance romance filled with
passion, laughter, and even a few tears (both happy and sad).
