MESSING WITH THE BARTENDER (MAID IN MIAMI #3)

Messing With The Bartender: Maid In Miami Book 3

When this single dad needs a wife to impress the Harvard of preschools…his first thought is to enlist the one person he knows can’t say no to him.

Alec: Ever since my world fell apart and I lost my beloved wife, my only priority is my three-year-old son. Before she died, I promised her I’d get our son into a super elite private preschool…I just didn’t know when I made that promise that I’d have to prove I’m married. I never planned to do that again, but if I have to, I will. The only option is trouble…bubbly, flirtatious Bianca Lopez who frequents my bar with her posse of friends. When I hit her with this crazy idea, she’s all in, thanks to her crush on me. Forget preschool. The one who’s learning that fake can be real is me…and I’m wondering if I can I open my heart to love again.

Bianca: It’s absolutely no secret that I’ve crushed on Alec The Hot Bartender for the better part of two years now. I’m not the type of person to be, well, subtle. But, despite all of my obvious advances, he seems to be pretty persistent in his avoidance of me. Until one night, when I find out he’s a widowed father to a sweet little boy, and he asks me to pretend to be his wife to get that boy into some bougie preschool. Kids are so not my thing…but Alec is. How can I say no? The only problem is this whole fake marriage is making me fall harder for him…and his adorable son. I know this man has already loved and lost, so I’m bound to get hurt. But for once in my life, I think I’ve found the family I never knew I needed…and I’m terrified I’m going to lose it.

Maid In Miami:

When five best friends graduate from business school, it’s time for these girls to take on the world. As dazzling, eccentric, and spirited as the city where they all grew up, these dynamos head home to Miami with big plans to launch a high-end housekeeping company. Offering a mix of beauty, brains, and business savvy, it doesn’t take long for Maid in Miami to attract the most elite clients in the glamorous city. That means they are now the maids for billionaires, rock stars, athletes, and South Florida’s most charming bachelors. It turns out, a girl can clean, tidy, and make a place sparkle…until a heartthrob sweeps her off her feet. Then, things can get really messy.

Liza's Review:

Messing With the Bartender is the 3rd installment in the Maid in Miami series by Breezie Bennett, and she delivers a wonderful romantic comedy once again. So many laugh out loud moments in this story, which pulls the reader in from the very first page.

Bianca has been flirting with Alec the bartender from pretty much the first time she and her friends were at Coconuts, with zero reaction on his part. So when he asks her for help getting his three-year-old son Dane into a fancy private pre-school, Bianca is totally unprepared, yet always up for a good time, and says yes.

I really enjoyed this story. I loved Bianca and Alec, and little Dane absolutely stole my heart. I loved that they truly became a family, even though the were only "playing pretend" to get Dane into the school of Alec's late wife's dreams. I loved seeing Bianca discover there was so much more about herself, especially when it came to kids. Alec and Bianca had really wonderful chemistry, and I liked how well they worked together to make a dream come true. I have to say Dane was such a refreshing and joyful character for me. I fell completely in love with this little boy, and loved seeing this little family become real.

Messing With the Bartender was a great addition to the Maid in Miami series. I love Ms. Bennett features a different friend in each new book, yet always have plenty of friend time as well. I love this strong group of women, and can't wait to read each new book. Messing With the Bartender is a sweet and funny romance that will hit readers in all the right happy feels.

MESSING WITH THE BAD BOY (MAID IN MIAMI #2)

When a rock star moves to Miami with plans to win back the one who got away…can he prove he’s changed his tune and find forever love?

Zachary: I tried, I really did. I hit the big time, toured the world, and made chart-topping music, but through it all, there was one thing missing…the girl I loved eight years ago who couldn’t take a risk on a rock star. So when life came crashing down on me last year, I decided to go after the kind of love I sing about. Now, I’m pulling out all the stops to show Meredith Fleming that she can take a chance on me. I’ve moved to Miami and hired her company to clean my new mansion…but will my dirty reputation ruin any shot I’ve got?

Meredith: Sure, I follow the rules and avoid anything that reeks of risk. That’s how I’ve built a successful housekeeping business with my best friends. But when a new client blows into town and insists on having me supervise the job, I know there’s more to this account than cleaning up a rock star’s chaos. Zachary Thorne didn’t just break my heart in college, he made one whopping mess of it and the last thing I want is to let him back into my life. I only agree to three dates because it’s a major new account for Maid in Miami…and he still melts me just a little bit. The dates might not go quite like he wants them to, and every minute I’m with this music man, my heart sings a little more. But when his past comes roaring back and threatens to shut down the show, will I take the biggest risk of all and fall in love?

Messing With The Bad Boy is a laugh-out-loud rom com with a swoony closed-door romance and a heaping dose of sizzling chemistry. There is no cheating and no cliffhangers and this can be read as a standalone

Liza's Review:

Breezie Bennett does in again with Messing with the Bad Boy the second book in her Maid in Miami series. I absolutely adored Meredith's and Zachary's journey to happily ever after!

When Zachary Thorne moves to Miami, his first step to try to win back Meredith Fleming is to hire her company Maid in Miami and ask she be his contact with the company. The fact that Meredith had never shared with her best friends that she secretly dated Zachary before he made it big made this story even more fun for me. Meredith always follows all the rules and lives by a set plan. Zachary is the bad boy rocker who pretty much flies by the seat of his pants with plans most of the time, and had never met a rule he didn't want to break.

I loved this story so very much. Meredith and Zachary really worked for me as a couple from the moment they saw each other again. I loved Zachary was the one with a goal to achieve, and he knew Meredith well enough to work the right plan to bring her back into his life. I love a good reunion story, and this one was amazing! I laughed out loud with each new crazy date, and loved seeing both fall in love all over again.

I stand by the fact this story always goes back to the 5 best friends, and how much they love and support one another in all aspects of their lives. I love the 5 women are all so strong, and always have each other's back. I have a group of friends from college that are the same, and it only makes this series of books even more special to me. Breezie Bennett gives her readers emotional, sweet, and funny stories in her Maid in Miami books, and I can't wait to see where she takes us next!

MESSING WITH THE BILLIONAIRE (MAID IN MIAMI #1)

When a case of mistaken identity goes too far…can this billionaire win the trust of a woman who thinks she loves the gardener?

TJ: Buying a winter home in Miami Beach has its benefits. Not only did I escape the pressure of being a hedge fund manager in New York, but when my housekeeping team shows up and an adorable bubbly blonde is in charge, I find I like the tropical sun even more. Sure, I let her believe I’m the gardener because the mistake was amusing, and she was amazing. I obviously planned to tell her when she says yes to our first date, but…I didn’t. For once, a woman is really into me without the trappings of my wealth and status. But the joke’s on me when feelings get real and telling her the truth could wreck the best thing I’ve ever had.

Lilly: It's official. I've met the perfect guy. At least, he seems perfect. He might not be the best landscaper in Miami, but he looks great in a sweaty t-shirt out on the lawns of my client’s mansion. For once, I’ve found someone who appreciates hard work and, like me, didn’t get anything handed to him. The only problem is...I think he's hiding something. Something big. I want to believe that the sweet and humble gardener I'm falling in love with is as real as he seems...but some unanswered questions make me wonder if this is all just too good to be true. Who is he and can I trust him with my heart?

Messing With The Billionaire is a laugh-out-loud rom com with a swoony closed-door romance and a heaping dose of sizzling chemistry. There is no cheating and no cliffhangers and this can be read as a standalone.

Maid in Miami #1

Contemporary Sweet Romance/Romantic Comedy

Review copy provided by publisher

Liza's Review:

Messing with the Billionaire is the first book in the sweet rom-com series Maid in Miami from Breezie Bennett. Five best friends decide to open a cleaning service for high-end clients together after graduating from UF. These best friends have really become more likes sisters with such different personalities, and I was hooked from the very first page.

When Lilly heads to meet with billionaire Theodore Rinehart, she is surprised to find him out, but TJ, his gardener, is there to get the message she stopped by to see Mr. Rinehart. Since he hires Maid in Miami, she is so over the moon, she isn't worried she only communicates with the boss via email. However, not only has Lilly met billionaire Theodore Rinehart, she is spending lots of time with him, since he is in fact TJ.

I really enjoy a well-done mistaken identity story, and Ms. Bennett did a wonderful job with Messing with the Billionaire. Yes, TJ let the mistaken identity go on way longer than he should have, but it had to be refreshing for him to be dating a woman who only knew TJ the man, not TJ the billionaire. Lilly and TJ had such a wonderful connection, and really great chemistry as well. I loved they both opened up about themselves to one another, so much so that TJ shared a part of himself he hadn't shared with anyone else in his life. There were many laugh out loud moments in the sweet romantic comedy, not only with Lilly and TJ, but with Lilly and her friends. I loved the time Lilly spent with her friends every bit as much as the time she and TJ were together.

Messing with the Billionaire was a wonderful start to the new Maid in Miami series. Ms. Bennett once again delivers her readers a funny romance. While her prior books have been steamier than her new series, the romance is every bit as strong. I look forward to reading each book in this new sweet romantic comedy series by Breezie Bennett.
