When Raina
Beck is given an invitation to The Players Club, all she wants is a night of
decadence with a gorgeous, sexy stranger. The seductive, mysterious man she
meets fulfills her deepest desires and most erotic fantasies, giving her a
night she’ll never forget. But forgetting him isn’t quite so easy.
Logan Cruz
prefers his women submissive and compliant in the bedroom . . . everything the
independent Raina is not. Yet from the first moment he lays eyes on her, he’s
determined to make Raina his. Despite her resistance.
When Logan
is assigned to protect Raina from a stalker, everything between them changes.
Sex becomes more than just physical, and emotions run deep. Falling in love was
never on Raina’s agenda, but can she let go of the past and surrender the one
thing he wants the most . . . her heart?

I was lucky enough to get an early review copy of Playing With Temptation thanks to the
author. I really loved Wilde's The Marriage Diaries series and was super
excited to get a chance to read the first book in the spin-off series of The
Player's Club. Playing With
Temptation is currently my favorite story ever written by Erika Wilde. I've
always been a huge fan, but I could gush for days about my love for this book.
My friend Nikki reminded me I should mention you need this book in your life,
so I promised to add that statement to my post.
Raina Beck and Logan Cruz are absolutely perfect as a couple.
Since they both have very dominant personalities, I was a little surprised how
much I loved them as a couple. However, with Raina's career choice she has to
be a pretty independent and dominant individual to survive.
I absolutely loved how protective Logan was of Raina. Yes he is
insanely attracted to her, but his protective instinct goes into overdrive when
it comes to Raina especially once they find out she has someone stalking her. I
loved how hot the love scenes were in The Marriage Diaries, but have to say
Logan and Raina together are even hotter. I really thought my kindle might melt
while I was reading Playing with
Temptation. I also felt like Logan got Raina and accepted her for who she
was, which unfortunately she hadn't experienced with guys in the past.
While the romance is the main focus of Playing with Temptation,
I really enjoyed the mystery of the stalker and thought it helped Raina trust
Logan faster. While Raina trusted Logan to protect her, she took longer to
trust Logan with her heart. I loved that he was willing to fight to keep her in
his life. I had a couple of suspects and was actually right about one of
my suspects. Logan proved once again how much he loved Raina and would do
anything for her.
Playing
with Temptation pulled me in from the first page and I didn't want to
put the book down. All romance readers who love strong heroes and heroines and
lots of steamy love scenes with love this story. I am already hooked on The
Players Club series and can't wait until the release of the next book in the
series.
