From the New York Times bestselling
author of Rumor Has It and
the Lucky Harbor series comes the story of a woman whose world is turned upside
down by one night's torrid fling...
Veterinary intern Emily can’t
believe she wound up in the small town of Sunshine, Idaho, instead of the Los
Angeles clinic she had always imagined. Now she has to put her plans to move to
L.A. on hold for a whole year while she fulfills the obligation of her vet
school scholarship.
Then Wyatt, her gorgeous
one-night stand from a Reno vet conference, introduces himself as her new boss.
And Emily is just as drawn to his seductive looks and quiet strength as she was
on that very steamy night. She soon learns that Wyatt isn’t just a laid-back
doctor, but a delicious alpha male tempting her away from her carefully
laid-out plans...

I'm
a huge fan of Jill Shalvis and was very lucky to get a review copy of Then Came You thanks to the publisher from
NetGalley.
I've
loved all the books in the Animal Magnetism series, but have to say Then Came You is my favorite...though
I'm pretty sure I say that about every single book from Jill Shalvis I read.
Wyatt
and Emily are 2 of my favorite characters ever. Emily is only in Sunshine to
fulfill her obligation for her scholarship. Wyatt loves everything about
Sunshine and can't imagine living anywhere else. The fact they had a one-night
stand in Reno at a vet conference only made me love this story even more. Wyatt
and Emily have amazing chemistry and pretty much can't keep their hands off
each other...well really Emily does seem to start things most of the time. I
love that each time they were both like this is the last time.
I
knew Emily had fallen in love with Sunshine right along with Wyatt when she
started rescuing all the animals near her house. For all her talk about wanting
to work in a big-city practice, I knew she fit in perfectly with the small town
of Sunshine. Both Emily and Wyatt are such strong characters and I loved them
both separately and together.
I
also loved getting to spend time with other favorite characters from the Animal
Magnetism series in Then Came You. I
especially loved all the guys giving Wyatt such a hard time when they figured
out Wyatt and Emily were together.
Then Came You is one of my favorite books
I've read this year. While I'm big on reading books in a series in order,
readers could totally read Then Came You
as a stand-alone and be fine. Then Came
You is one of the funniest, sexiest books I've read this year and I highly
recommend it to anyone who loves contemporary romances.
