My Review:
I'm a huge fan of Marquita Valentine and was really excited to
get a chance to read Be Mine early. Ms. Valentine delivers once again with a
beautiful and sexy romance.
Liam and Isabella are both very strong characters who are very
different. I really loved both Liam and Isabella from the beginning. Even with
their very big differences, they worked for me as a couple. They had amazing
chemistry and while they started out only agreeing with one another in the
bedroom, I liked watching it change the more time they spent together. Both
Liam and Isabella had been hurt in the past and it was really hard for either
one to admit their real feelings. I absolutely love watching characters finally
figure out how much they love one another, especially when characters are as
stubborn as Liam.
I really loved so much about this book. I especially love how
even before Liam would admit his feelings for Bella, he showed how much he
cared for her by taking care of her. However, my favorite thing he did for her
was when he surprised her by wearing a kilt. *sigh*
I loved getting to spend time with some of my favorite Holland
Springs characters as well. The friendship between Daisy and Bella is a
favorite of mine and I'm so glad they are always there for one another.
Be Mine is the 6th book in the Holland Springs series, but
really does read well as a stand alone read. I personally think Be Mine is a
beautiful, sexy and sweet romance and recommend it to anyone who enjoys
contemporary romances.
