favorite authors ever and when I found out they were planning to write a book
together, I was over the moon happy. Book baby from 2 favorite authors!!!
Dirty Sexy
Saint had me wanting to do nothing but read from the moment I
started the book. Samantha Jamieson comes from money, as in her father is a
billionaire. However, her father also thinks his money means he can control
Samantha and who she marries. I loved that Samantha was strong enough to not
only tell him no, but to walk away with nothing but the clothes on her back.
Luckily when she ends up on the wrong side of the tracks, it's in Clay
Kincaid's bar. Clay is hands down the sexiest alpha male ever, but he also has
a heart of gold when it comes to taking care of people down on their luck.
Dirty Sexy
Saint is super sexy and hot. The chemistry between Clay and
Samantha is off the charts hot and I loved that Samantha liked sex just as fast
and filthy as Clay. I honestly didn't expect Samantha to fit in with Clay and
his friends and family as well as she did and ended up loving her character
every bit as much as Clay. OMG they are both so protective of one another and I
loved they couldn't get enough of each other. Even with their backgrounds being
so completely different, I adored Clay and Samantha as a couple.

Saint was an amazing start to the Dirty Sexy series from Carly
Phillips and Erika Wilde. I can't wait to read both Mason and Levi's stories!

What do you have when two of the most talented writers in
Romance Land write a sexy book together? A book baby, that's what! It was like
Christmas and my birthday all wrapped up together, when I heard that these
ladies were co-writing a book.
Clay Kincaid is all shades of hot! He's flawed, battling
demons from his past, and has a heart that is kind and giving...though, he'd
never admit to it. Clay is a complex character. On the outside, he's kinda
rough around the edges. But he's really all marshmallowy on the inside. I loved
watching the layers that made up his personality slowly peel away. I respected
this man. He's just this normal guy that's dealing with a lot of inner turmoil.
But taking care of people comes so naturally to him. My heart hurt knowing that
his need to help others, is because no one took care of him or his little
brothers. No one made sure they were safe and healthy. There were some pretty
heavy emotions in this book, but there was also a lighthearted feel throughout.
Ms. Wilde and Ms. Phillips brought all of those feelings roaring to the surface
at just the right moments.
Samantha Jamieson, is a brilliant and strong woman. Going
out into the world on your own can be scary. But this heroine took the
challenge by the balls! Of course, it wasn't smooth sailing. There was a
hilarious drunken incident between Clay and Samantha. I laughed so hard! I
could picture Clays grossed out expression, all the while trying to take care
of Samantha. This scene made me think of my own experiences with friends who
were completely sauced! It was relatable. I love feeling like the characters
that I'm reading about, have normal things going on. That they are
inconvenienced with the crap that life slings at you. It makes it feel real,
you know?
The chemistry between these two, was blazing hot almost
from the beginning. It was a living thing. I loved that Samantha was brave and
took a chance at going after what she wanted, in all things. She took charge of
her life and of her libido! Holy hot smokin' sexy...when they finally got
together, the pages sizzled! Clay is bossy, so deliciously bossy in the
bedroom...and in the kitchen, in his office, in the...well, you get the idea!
This dynamic duo of writers, writes intoxicatingly wild love scenes. The bedroom
doors are busted wide open in this one!
You know what I love about Clay? I love that he helps
people without them really knowing. He gives people the tools to help
themselves and succeed. That's exactly what he does with Samantha. Watching him
build up her confidence and quietly guiding her to take a chance on her dream,
was enchanting. I like an over the top alpha hero, who takes charge and
bulldozes through challenges, but sometimes it's nice to witness the subtle
strength of the hero. Clay does things almost behind the scenes. This character
has an incredibly large heart that finds fulfilment in making others happy.
That's enough to make me swoon a few times over!
You get to meet Clay’s brothers. I knew the second I met,
Mason, that I needed his book! What a cheeky, insufferable, sexy, delicious,
manwhore! Sigh...I kinda love him! The possible stories that can come from the
secondary characters are so exciting! I suspect by the end of the series, that
I'll have more than one book boyfriend! Call me greedy, but I don't think I
could choose. I'll happily take them all.
This book was such fun. I love opening a book that keeps
the smile on my face, but infuses enough emotion to make my heart skip a few
beats. Carly Phillips and Erika Wilde, have done something special. Their
combined voices created a strong story, with characters that have heart and
depth. What a wonderful start to a series that promises to be extraordinary!
