This
was a fun start to what promises to be a great spin off series of Shayla
Black's Wicked Lovers series.
Karis
and Cage shared an intense and erotic New Year's Eve together. A
misunderstanding keeps them apart in the weeks following their one night together.
It might have been a quick rendezvous, but it left a lasting emotional
connection for both of them.
Cage
comes to Karis's rescue while she's stranded in Mexico because of a stolen
passport. After clearing the air, its full throttle sexy times! And in true
Shayla Black fashion, said sexy times were sinfully delicious!
This
was just a quick visit in this new series. But I enjoyed every morsel. If you
like the whole "Insta love" trope, this book is for you. The writing
was intriguing and kept me engaged. It definitely left me wanting more from
this series. I'm really looking forward to reading the first full-length book.
