Trick…or
wicked treat!
It was a
devastating dirty trick—Joey Silvia just found out her boyfriend of two years
is married. What. A. Dick. Joey knows her best chance to get over one guy is to
get under another. Of course, heading home to her family's remote cabin in
Oregon poses some challenges in the "available men" department…until
she discovers this cabin comes with its own hot handyman!
Holy crap,
Chris Steffensen. When did her brother's best friend turn into a hard-bodied
pile of blond-bearded hotness? He's the perfect Halloween treat—and a
surprisingly dirty rebound guy. For a couple of weeks, anyway. Except that
Chris has other ideas…like proving to Joey that this blast from the past is a
whole lot more than a naughty Halloween hookup.

Liza’s Review:
I absolutely adore Tiffany Reisz and devour each of her new
books as soon as they hit my kindle. Her
Halloween Treat is the first Harlequin Blaze book from Ms. Reisz and I have
to say she totally hit it out of the park with this story.
I loved Joey Silvia pretty much from the moment she hit the
page. She has just learned her boyfriend of 2 years was actually married and
she is absolutely devastated. I love that her best friend kept
telling her to get on a guy to get over her ex-boyfriend. Of course not only is
there a super hot handy man available when she gets to her family's cabin, it
is none other than Chris Steffensen, who is her brother Dillon’s best friend. I
love a story that reconnects old friends and absolutely loved that Joey was
Chris's high school crush. I
The chemistry between Joey and Chris was ridiculously hot. I
mean it was steam up my kindle hot at times. I will admit I found Her Halloween Treat way hotter than
other Blazes I've read in the past. I loved the closeness they shared even as
Joey was completely honest about the fact that she planned to return to Hawaii
after her brother's wedding. I also loved how much
they reminisced and laughed about both the past and the present. As
Joey had only recently learned about her ex, a man making her laugh was pretty
fabulous in my opinion.
While the romance between Joey and Chris was amazing, one of my
favorite parts of the entire book was Joey's brother's wedding. They had a
Halloween wedding with everyone dressed up as characters from 80's movies and
tv shows. This is my era and the wedding between Dillon and Oscar had me
smiling on every single level.
I found Her Halloween
Treat to be a super fun, fast, and sexy read. I can't wait to read the next
2 books in the Men at Work series, which luckily enough will be released in
October and November. Fans of Tiffany Reisz will be excited to get their next
fix from her and new-to-her readers will fall in love with her voice.
