Shayla Black and Lexi Blake are better than Batman and Robin. These two really are the Dynamic Duo! When they get together to write a book, magic happens. And a whole bunch of filthy deliciousness!

This series has knocked me off of my feet. You really have to focus on all the details that are thrown at you. This is not a book where you can mindlessly flip through the pages. You need to be fully involved. All the books in this series are like that. And I freakin' love it!!

Dax and Holland have danced around their attraction for ages. Mostly, Dax has been pursuing and, Holland hasn't let her vagina take over her common sense. When they finally get together, it seems like all may be right. But there's this unfortunate issue with a scandal involving, Dax's dead father.

I have all these conspiracy theories running through my head about this series. There's a mystery plot line that continues in each book. It keeps getting more and more intricately woven. I have my own thoughts on what happened to a certain character, but I'll keep those to myself and let you form your own opinions. This is what I'm talking about when I say that you have to be fully invested and involved while reading.

It's kinda hard to write a review without giving away some of the important parts, and I don't want to ruin it. So, let me just focus on the relationship between, Dax and Holland! Have you ever watched someone throw lighter fluid on a bonfire and it just lights right up? That's exactly what happens when these two come together...combustion! They have such incredible passion. Two stubborn people who are so crazy for each other, they can't see straight. Separately, Lexi Blake and Shayla Black write super over the top, scrumptiously decadent sex scenes. But together? Sweet Jesus, it makes all my senses take notice!

There are a number of players in this book. All are important to the plot. This series is about a group of men who have made an oath out of their loyalty to one another. Best friends to the end, kinda thing. While each couple gets their happily ever after at the end of their book, the plot continues on. But it's not a cliffhanger in the traditional sense. You aren't left ticked off. You're left with the need for more and all sorts of ideas running through your head!

I know I haven't given many clues into what happens in the book, but I would be doing you a disservice to give away too much. Just know, that the characters are extremely likeable, the sexy scenes are scorching, the romance is thick, and there's enough spy and murder plots to keep any James Bond fan enthralled for hours!

In order to enjoy this book, you must start at the beginning of the series. That's where the journey begins. You need to start with getting to know the Perfect Gentlemen and their stories from the start. If you aren't left with conspiracy theories running through your brain while you're trying to sleep, I'll eat my hat. Seriously, I'm not sure I've ever been this invested in a series! I can hardly wait for the next installment!
