He’s a man who fixes difficult situations. She’s the one
thing he can’t handle—and the one thing he can’t resist…
ONLY
Sebastian
Jameson negotiates for high-end clients who need problems taken care of quickly
and discreetly. Accustomed to being in control, he’s still reeling from his
ex-wife’s decision to write a tell-all about their private life, one that
highlighted their bedroom activities. The fallout left Bast’s love life in
chaos, making him a magnet for women who thrive on risky fantasies, and a
pariah to all others.
Kyra Royer
knows all about Bast’s reputation—and is intrigued enough to try to change him
into a one-woman guy. But getting him into her bed will be a challenge. He’s
known her brother for years, and her brother, with his rough past and sniper
abilities, is not a man you cross. Kyra knows Bast thinks she’s off-limits, so
she’ll have to get creative to make him hers.
As Kyra
turns up the heat, Bast struggles to resist the sexy young woman’s considerable
charms. But when Bast’s job turns from tricky to deadly, keeping Kyra nearby
might be the only way to keep her alive—even if it means getting closer than he
ever intended…

Holton Woods Series Book #2
Berkley Heat
I am a huge fan of HelenKay Dimon and have been since I first
found her books thanks to Alison Kent. I was lucky enough to get a review copy
from the publisher through NetGalley.
I absolutely love Only and thought it was a great
addition to the series. I loved Bast when we met him in Mercy, and was
so happy his story was the 2nd in the series. While Mercy had more of a
romantic suspense feel to it, Only felt more like a straight up romance
to me with some suspenseful elements.
I loved Bast and Kyra as a couple. Even with Kyra being
younger than Bast, they worked at a couple for me. The chemistry between them
was amazing and I loved that Kyra fell for Bast in spite of the rumors of his
history. I felt like both Bast and Kyra got one another and didn't see the
facade either presented to the public.
I also love we got to spend more time with Kyra's brother Wade
and Eli. I loved them as a couple in Mercy and really wanted them to get past
their issues to make a go of it as a couple. While I don't think all their
issues are gone forever, I do think they are headed in the right
direction.
I only had issues with a couple of things in the book, and both
were about keeping secrets. I didn't like that Kyra kept the fact that her
father was back in contact with her from both Bast and her brother Wade. I also
didn't like that Kyra and Bast didn't let Wade know they had started seeing
each other.
Even with the issues I really loved this story. I'm very excited
there will be at least 2 more stories in the Holton Woods series from HelenKay
Dimon next year.
