Nikki’s Review:
I'll make this simple to start...I LOVED THIS BOOK! Eden Summers
never ceases to amaze me. She can make me laugh hysterically and make my
husband think I'm nuts. And then she can shred my heart into pieces with her
emotionally charged words.
I wasn't completely convinced that it was possible for Sean to
move on from Sydney. His head is so messed up. He's angry with how his career
is going, or isn't going rather. He's struggling with being happy for his best
friend. Bottom line...he's an absolute wreck for a while. Eden really put his
heart through the wringer!
Melody is struggling with finding a new normal, a new path after
her professional dance career comes to a halt. She's stuck in turmoil. Reliving
a painful memory every time she looks at her body. After spending so many years
in the spotlight, being the envy of every dancer, and glorying in that
attention, she's trying to hide from the world. She's hiding from love.
When Sean and Melody get together, the chemistry is off the
charts! They are so hot for each other, even when both are so unsure of where
things are going. Keep a glass of water with you, the love scenes are smokin'.
Even though you want to shake these two sometimes, you can't help but love
them, want them to find the peace that they both crave and so desperately
deserve. I found myself "talking" to them. Telling them to get
their acts together and see what's right in front of them...love! Of course
Eden didn't let me down, she led those two wayward souls right where they needed
to be...together.
As always you get to catch up with the rest of Reckless Beat.
The banter between the band is always a hoot! I love seeing the guys happy with
their ladies. Getting little glimpses into their worlds. Except there's one
guy, Ryan who still needs his HEA. He's broken. His wife has snuffed out his
happiness with her selfish ways. I can hardly wait for his book. I just know
that Eden Summers is going to wreck me with his book. And I'll enjoy it every
step of the way! Do yourself a favour and buy this book. If you haven't read
the series from the beginning, start it now!
