Long for Me is the 3rd novella about the
Bell siblings. Chris (Tink) is the youngest of the Bell siblings and honestly
seemed to be most effected by her mother's disappearance. Chris has a learning
disability and her mom was the one who could really help her focus to study and
learn. Chris has always had Guy Miller in her life. He lived down the road from
them when they were kids and has always been like a part of the Bell family. I
loved Guy from the moment he appeared on the page.
I
really enjoyed Long for Me very much.
I liked that we finally got the truth about what happened to Nichole and love
how the siblings and their father finally started making up for lost
time. When Guy and Chris were in the room together, the chemistry was
absolutely amazing and I did love they both totally understood the
other. My only issue with the entire story was Chris being so on again off
again with Guy. He had always been there for her and she knew he loved her, as
much as she loved him, yet she sent off so many mixed signals.
I’m
super excited that Shiloh Walker will continue the Secrets & Shadows series with Deeper Than Need, which is set
for release on June 3, 2014.
