April 1, 2014 Release St. Martin's Press
I'm a huge Shiloh Walker fan. I was super excited to see
she had a new series of books from St. Martin's Press, and with Burn for Me, she set the story up well.
Burn for Me is a
novella length story and while it is a quick read, it is also a very satisfying
read. Tate and Ali have amazing chemistry together and I loved how strong Ali
had to be to let Tate know she needed things to change for her and her boys. I
could feel how much Ali loved Tate and knew it wasn't easy to take a stand.
Tate has always blamed his father for his mother's disappearance
and in his mind death. It was hard watching Tate pretty much lose all of his
family because of the mistakes from the past. I honestly just wanted to give
him a hug and "Gibbs" smack him for not being open to what his family
was trying to tell him and not believing in love.
I have to say even with this story being a novella length; it
was really awesome and gave the reader a great set up for this new series. I
can't wait to read the rest of the books in this series now.
