Oh man, this one may be my favourite in the series! I knew Cabe would bring me to my knees...and I couldn't wait!

Cabe is mourning the death of his fiancée, Jess. He walks through life not fully immersed in it. He's trying to move on, but the thought of it shreds his heart. Until he meets Agent Amy Murray.

Amy is all work and no play. She's an FBI agent with something to prove. But Cabe Moss makes her want to break all her rules and take a risk.

The slow simmer of passion in this book was amazing. It was frustrating at times because I wanted them to get down to the hot and sweaty stuff. But they both needed to tread a bit carefully. Sweet baby Jesus, when Cabe and Amy finally hit the sheets, it took my damn breath away! Cabe has a deliciously filthy mouth. And he uses it for more than whispering sweet nothings. 

I was totally caught up in the undercover mission they were both working on. I felt like I was trying to solve a puzzle by gathering the bits of clues that were thrown my way. As much as I liked that aspect of the story, I appreciated that it didn't take away from the romance.

Every time Scarlett Cole let us "see" inside Cabe's head, my heart both broke and mended. His difficulty keeping Jess in the past and allowing Amy in was so hard to read. I hurt for him. The journey to his heart healing, while sad at times, was beautiful.

I appreciated that Amy wasn't meant to replace Jess, or even erase her from Cabe's memory. She was meant to make Cabe happy again; meant to help him find a new and different happiness with her. 

The chemistry between these two was powerful. They complimented each other well in their careers and personal lives. Cabe had to fight his need to shield her from everything. He knew he couldn't clip her wings when it came to her job. That just made me love him more.

Scarlett Cole never fails to weave an amazing story that grips me from the first page. Her writing is a source of comfort for me. I know I can expect to be fulfilled in every way when I dive into one of the worlds she's created. 

Ya, I really do think that this book is my favourite in the series. But don't get me wrong, I love my men Six and Mac! You need to read their books! You could technically read this book as a stand alone, but don't cheat yourself out of enjoying the first two books. Read them all. In order of course, because my eye twitches when series are read out of order! 

Now I need to beg Scarlett for books for Harley and Lite!

Leslie Kelly has been an auto-buy author for me since I read the very first Harlequin book by her years ago. While I adore her super sexy books, I have to say her romantic suspense books have always been my favorites. Wanting You hit on all my favorite things about a romantic suspense with the action starting on the very first page. I'm not going to lie, I wanted Rowan's story as soon as we met him in Watching You. I always find a favorite character when I know there is a trilogy, and usually have to wait for the third book to get that story. Was so happy Rowan's book was second in the series. 

Rowan Winchester was one of the famous Winchester kids of Hollywood legend, but now is a police officer for the LAPD. When he stepped up to rescue Evie Fleming from an attack on the streets of LA, they both worked on the theory it was a random attack. However, as Evie is in Hollywood to look into many famous unsolved mysteries, the LAPD soon assigns Rowan to be her bodyguard of sorts. Let me just say the chemistry between Rowan and Evie was there pretty much from the very first. I loved seeing them move from cautious friends to lovers. It really did give me all the feels.

 While the romance between them was strong, the suspense was the biggest focus of this book and I loved every single second of it. Just when I thought Ms. Kelly was going one way with the story, she totally and completely threw me off. I've been reading romantic suspense books for years, and have to say Watching You was one of the best ones I've ever read. I honestly make it my goal to figure out all the thought process of the bad guys before the reveal, and while I did have part of my theory correct, I was completely wrong in my final guess. I love when an author pulls me so deeply into the story, I don't want the story to end.

I also can't wait to find out the final truth to the mystery surrounding the Winchester family and the death of Harry Baker. I'm impatiently awaiting the final pieces of the puzzle in Waiting For You, which is currently scheduled for release in January 2019. I highly recommend Wanting You to fans of romantic suspense and have to say it is my favorite romantic suspense book I've read this year.

Deliver Me is the first book in the Holmes Brother series from Farrah Rochon. I’ve heard about this series of books forever, and finally had to give them a try myself. I loved Deliver Me so much; I downloaded all the other books in the series when I was only 25% finished reading it.

Elijah Holmes aka “Super Doc” is an ob-gyn who gives his all to his job, even going above and beyond to take care of his patients. He is also absolutely drop-dead gorgeous and has pretty much been a player for years. He has made it a rule to never date doctors after being burned pretty badly in college.

Enter Monica Gardner, who is starting over in New Orleans after having her heart broken in St. Louis.  She has taken a job as the head of the ER and hits the ground running from the moment she joins the hospital. Not only does she basically run the ER, but she has also agrees to help run the charity event to keep The Parenting Center up and running, which the citizens of New Orleans are in major need of always. Of course Eli is the one doctor with the most experience, and he is the one to offer to help with the event.

I have to say I laughed out loud on more than one occasion when Monica and Eli were together. From him almost hitting her with is car on their first meeting, to him needing her to pose as his girlfriend to keep his mom from setting him up with his old high school girlfriend, I found myself totally falling in love with them as a couple. They had some serious chemistry, even if neither wanted to admit it in the beginning. OMG I loved Monica and Eli together so much!!! I have to say I loved that Monica made Eli wait to make love for the first time. I don't think I could have bought into them as a couple if she had just jumped into bed with him, when I knew she was still getting past the deception of her ex. Let me just say it was so worth the wait though! 

With Monica's trust issues, I knew there was a good chance those issues would become a problem between them. I won't lie, it almost broke my heart to see her accept what she was told rather than talking to Eli about the situation. However, when Monica wants to make things right, she also does it in a big way. I had all the happy sighs going by the end of the book. 

I adored Monica and Eli's story, but have to say I also fell in love with the entire Holmes clan along the way. I can't wait to read each of the Holmes brothers get their very own stories, and I so look forward to seeing what is going on with Monica and Eli along the way.
