Nikki’s Review:

I have waited for what feels like forever for this book! I couldn't wait to finally dive into the crazy lives of each band member in Exodus End. This world tour is sure to be as hot, or maybe (fingers crossed) hotter than The Sinners tour. Every raunchy and dirty word uttered makes my naughty girl side sigh with utter happiness!

Logan and Toni made such an unlikely pair. He's a badass rock star and she's a book smart journalist trying to get an inside feel of life on the road with a famous rock band. I love these kinds of stories. I love watching a character fall so hard for someone that doesn't fit their typical type. The inner conflict of trying to figure out what makes them burn so bad for the other person can be funny and intensely interesting! Logan isn't prepared for the emotions that flood him. He isn't prepared to feel so needy and obsessed with Toni. He never fails to tell her that they are just having fun but then even the thought of being without her is abhorrent to him. I have to admit, at times I found myself getting irritated with Logan. He was crazy jealous, even childish at times when it came to Toni. I wanted to punch him in the throat for the way be behaved once or twice.

Toni is so head over heels for Logan. And she knows what a bad idea that is. She's not experienced, at least not until he gets his hands, and other body parts all over her. She reminds herself that this is just supposed to be fun. She's having an experience and she should just take it for what it is...sex with a rock star. Her heart, however isn't on the same page. There were so many times that I got choked up when Logan would say something so hurtful to Toni. I liked how she could see through his words. She knew that he cared.

It was fun getting a peek at what it might be like on a tour bus with rock god hotties. The banter between the band was hilarious! They fight like brothers but they have each other's back, always. It felt like I was the journalist on the bus writing a book. Ms. Cunning made it feel like I was really getting into the heart of the band members. There are so many stories that can, and I hope will, come from these characters! These guys are more than celebrities with crazy lives. There is some real emotion, lots of angst!

I adored watching Logan fall to his knees for Toni. It was exactly what he needed. It was messy and sexy and Toni wasn't immune to his antics. She fell for him from almost day one. Sweet baby Jesus, this man is dirty.  Filthy really, and I couldn't get enough! The words that came out of Logan's mouth made me blush six ways to Sunday! It was beautiful to see Toni discover herself as a woman, to learn what makes her body sing. And let's face it, Logan was a pretty damn good sex ed teacher!

There wasn't anything too complicated about this book. Lots of laughs, lust, a few tears shed. It was great! There’s a pretty big misunderstanding that leaves Toni hurt. Logan and the band are left to grovel a bit. That part was really well written. I think one of the best things about this book is the well-written dialogue. I felt like I was in the room during the conversations. It was smooth and easy going.

I'm really looking forward to the next book. There was some unfinished business at the end of this one. But not between Toni and Logan! They have a complete story with an HEA!
