Play (A Stage Dive Novel)

Mal Ericson, drummer for the world famous rock band Stage Dive, needs to clean up his image fast—at least for a little while. Having a good girl on his arm should do the job just fine. Mal doesn’t plan on this temporary fix becoming permanent, but he didn’t count on finding the one right girl.

Anne Rollins never thought she’d ever meet the rock god who plastered her teenage bedroom walls—especially not under these circumstances. Anne has money problems. Big ones. But being paid to play the pretend girlfriend to a wild life-of-the-party drummer couldn’t end well. No matter how hot he is. Or could it?

Release Date: March 25, 2014
St. Martin's Griffin (Macmillan)

I loved Lick, the first book in the Stage Dive series. I loved Dave and Evie's story and was excited to read stories about the rest of the band. I'm super excited that Play is Mal's book.

I love Mal! He is so much fun and super intense. When he sets his sights on Anne, I knew she would fall hard and fast. Mal and Anne had great chemistry together and I loved they made each other laugh too. I knew Mal was keeping a pretty big secret from everyone and that was the reason for his pretty manic behavior. I loved that Anne was pretty much his anchor during this time.

Mal and Anne are currently my favorite couple from this series. I absolutely love everything about Play and can't wait to read Lead, the next book in the series which comes out on July 29, 2014.
