Lick (Stage Dive #1) is the newest release from author Kylie
Scott. The publisher is Momentum and the release date is set for July 1, 2013.
From the back cover.~
Waking up
in Vegas was never meant to be like this.
Evelyn Thomas's plans for celebrating her twenty-first birthday in Las Vegas were big. Huge. But she sure as hell never meant to wake up on the bathroom floor with a hangover to rival the black plague, a very attractive half-naked tattooed man, and a diamond on her finger large enough to scare King Kong. Now if she could just remember how it all happened.
One thing is for certain, being married to rock and roll's favourite son is sure to be a wild ride.

I'm becoming a fan of the NA genre. I actually
requested a review copy of this book based on one of my twitter friends raving
about the book. I so grateful the publisher approved me for a review copy.
I loved David and Evelyn (Ev) as a couple almost
from the very beginning. All the misunderstandings of the drunken night they
got married put me off in the beginning, but as soon as they started talking to
one another, I knew they were perfect for each other. David helped make Ev
stronger and allowed her to really think about what she wanted to do with her
life. Ev helped David think like a normal person again. He is a rock star and
has had everyone being his "yes man" for so long, he needed someone
like Ev to put him in his place once in a while.
Not that the past doesn't cause problems for
them in the present at all. Both have trust issues and seem to run or lash out
before thinking much of the time. I think part of it is the age of each of the
characters. Ev has just turned 21 and David is only 25. When they do realize
how much they love one another, I fell in love with them as a couple all over
again.
Kylie Scott is a new-to-me author, and I really
loved her voice. I’m super excited for more books in her Stage Dive series, as
well as grabbing some books from her backlist. From more information about the
author and her books, check out her website.
This sounds like a great, fun read!!
