LOVE SONG COVER REVEAL

Are you ready for another rockstar romance? Elle Greco is back with the next book in her L.A. Rock Star series. Check out the cover for LOVE SONG and be sure to add the book to your TBR today!

About LOVE SONG

Jett Benson is having a bad week.
To start, she was kicked out of her soon to be ex-stepfather’s Bel Air mansion. Then, UCLA gave her the boot because of an unpaid tuition bill. Finally, her crappy car just broke down in Venice Beach, and she doesn’t have the money to fix it.
And that’s just Monday.
Jett needs a job. And fast. But with her car out of commission and a resume that screams unemployable, she has no choice but to crash on her ex-stepbrother Rafe’s couch until she gets back on her feet.
Once mortal enemies, a bond grew between Jett and Rafe when their bands toured together. It’s a bond that Jett’s trying to avoid before it morphs into something more. And that something more could break her heart because Rafe’s left a path of shattered ones in his wake.
Rafe Davis was adopted into rock and roll royalty. When his own father, guitar player for legendary rock band Anthem, fell victim to the cut-throat music industry, Rafe was enveloped by the Davis clan. Now, like his dad, Rafe is a guitar player, but for Rogue Nation, a band whose debut album is following Anthem’s meteoric trajectory. But Rafe is determined not to repeat history, even if that means guarding his heart against the one person who believes in him.
So Jett needs to find a J-O-B and get off Rafe’s couch before she climbs into his bed. Because for both of them, falling in love is not an option.
Love Song is the second book in the LA Rock Star Romance series. Set in the glam and gritty Los Angeles rock scene, the series is filled with swoon-worthy men and badass women, all chasing their dreams in Hollywood’s cut-throat music industry.
Get ready to fall in love with another LA Rock Star.

About ELLE GRECO

I write fiction about badass women (and the people they love).

Urban Fantasy lovers will know me as Karen Greco, author of the best-selling Hell’s Belle series. My Contemporary Romance books are written under Elle Greco.

While the genres are worlds apart, strong female characters are the chain that links all my worlds.

These women are magical. They wield wicked weapons. They play a mean drum solo. They fall in love. They rule the boardroom and the bedroom.

Whatever they do, they do it with swagger.

My storytelling career began when I forced everyone play “make believe” with me when I was a kid. That eventually morphed into banging out short stories on my mom’s old manual typewriter. As I got older, I graduated to penning bad poetry, then not terrible plays as a teenager. I studied playwright in college but my career took a detour and I ended up working in journalism and then entertainment publicity, which kept me busy for 20 or so years.

My “day job” has taken me from gritty rock clubs in The Bowery to glam red carpets during movie premieres and awards shows. My background working with talent (and the suits) in the industry has served me well with the LA Rock Star Romance series.

A few years ago, I decided to pursue my original passion and a few full-length novels later, here we are.

I love anything spooky and impossible to explain. If you love hanging out in cemeteries, the older the better, I’d totally go on a road trip with you.

I have two rescue dogs, a patient husband, and an awesome kid.

Excerpt:
Noah lightly grasped her elbow and ushered her toward the parking lot, which was located across the street from Murphy’s. “Come on, I’m walking you to your car, and I’m not taking no for an answer so don’t waste your breath arguing.”
Natalie relaxed and smiled, and they walked by the other storefronts along the street to the intersection.
“You know, we could consider this nice, casual stroll to your car a first date,” he suggested, only half joking. He’d take a date with her any way he could get one.
She thrust her hands deep into her jacket pockets and slanted him a sly look. “Ah, so you do have an ulterior motive other than seeing me safely to my car.”
“A very harmless motive, I swear.” He held up his hands and attempted to look innocent. “We could head over to Starbucks and get a coffee and just talk about the weather if you’d like.”
An incredulous burst of laughter escaped her. “The weather? Are you serious?”
He shrugged and winked at her. “I wouldn’t want our first date to be too personal.”
She chewed on her full bottom lip, looking torn, then said, “Noah, I can’t.”
The light at the intersection was red, and Noah pushed the button to give them the right of way, unwilling to give up on her so easily this time. “Not even one coffee? I promise no hand-holding or kissing.”
That made her smile again, but her next words shot down his hopes. “I’m sorry, but I’ve got a big test on Monday I need to study for.”
“We could have a study date,” he suggested. “There are a few things I’m really good at teaching.”
“I’m not going to touch that one,” she murmured huskily. Hearing someone approach from behind, she glanced over her shoulder briefly, then back at Noah. “You don’t give up, do you?”
Something in her expression had changed in those few seconds, and there was now a troubled glint in her eyes that snagged his attention, but he didn’t understand its source. Wanting to soothe her sudden anxiety, he picked up her hand and drew a lazy pattern on her palm with his index finger. “I’d give up if you told me to get lost and meant it.”
She stared at him, then shook her head, sending her soft dark waves brushing across her shoulders. “You’re way too—”
“Irresistible?” He graced her with one of his enticing grins that never failed to score him extra points with the opposite sex.
The light changed to green, the cars on the street stopped, and they stepped off the curb to cross, severing the contact of their joined hands. “I was thinking more along the lines of persistent.
He laughed. “Hey, I do have a few faults.”

Liza's Review:

Erika Wilde wraps up her Some Like it Hot series with Hot and Bothered. We finally get the final Sommers sibling's story and it was totally worth the wait.

Noah Sommers has wanted Natalie Hastings pretty much from the moment he first saw her. Thanks to having an abusive ex-boyfriend who turned into a stalker, Natalie moved to Oakland to start over. Natalie is all about trying to stay under the radar both at work and at school, and turns all advances down from Noah. When she is in a car accident, Noah tells the doctors at the hospital that Natalie is his fiancé so he can find out what is goin on with her and keep her safe. As Natalie wakes with temporary amnesia, Noah moves her in with him to keep and eye on her. Noah is especially protective of Natalie when he learns about her ex-boyfriend and her run ins with an unknown man who makes Natalie feel uncertain.

I love that since Natalie believes she and Noah are engaged, she has no inhibitions when it comes to her desire to be with Noah. I literally laughed out loud as Noah tried to keep things platonic between them. I loved that Natalie not only knew what she wanted, but went after it with Noah. They had the most smoking hot chemistry and I fell in love with them as a couple. I absolutely adored their journey from casual flirting to a real romance.

I have to say I really loved the level of suspense that was in Hot and Bothered. It wasn't a full on romantic suspense story, but it had enough suspense elements to keep me guessing about when the ex would show back up. I just knew he would show up when both Noah and Natalie least expected it. Natalie's ex Chad was nothing more than a spoiled rotten mean jerk and I loved how she handled him.

Hot and Bothered was a wonderful ending to the Some Like it Hot trilogy. Erika Wilde once again delivers a sexy romance with just the right amount of suspense to keep the reader on the edge of their seats.I highly recommend this entire series of books to contemporary romance fans.

EXCERPT

Megan hadn’t brought a lot of clothing on this trip, anticipating getting to do laundry at some hotel along the way, but she had a couple of nice outfits in addition to the dress she planned to wear for the wedding. She selected an emerald green sweater dress from her suitcase. She was normally more of a jeans kind of girl, but this dress made her feel cute, and it felt very Nashville when she paired it with some knee-high boots. She gathered up her clothes and undergarments and headed for the bathroom.
When she left the bathroom, Scarlett was pinning up her curls into two buns up near the top of her head. It was one of the cutest hairstyles she wore, and one that always made Megan wish for something other than her own super-straight brown hair. Scarlett looked away from her hair when Megan entered the room, her gaze skimming down Megan’s body in a way that made Megan burn up inside.
Before Scarlett could say something, whether it was going to be a compliment or not, Megan blurted out, “I don’t know what to do with my hair.”
Scarlett tapped her lips, studying her like she was an interesting painting. “You want me to curl it?” Scarlett asked.
“My hair doesn’t curl.” Megan had never had any luck with that. “It’s too fine.”
Scarlett tucked the final bobby pin into her own style and walked over to Megan, running her hand through Megan’s hair. The contact sent a chill all down Megan’s spine. Oh, she wanted Scarlett to keep touching her like that.
“It’s pretty fine.” Scarlett gathered up a bunch of Megan’s hair in her hands. Megan shivered. Hopefully Scarlett wouldn’t notice the shiver. “It would curl if you didn’t wash it so much. You need it to get dirty.”
Megan laughed, and it sounded breathless coming out. “I don’t really do dirty.”
Scarlett still had the hold on her hair, and she tipped Megan’s head back to look at her. “You sure about that?”
The unspoken after last night hung in the air between them. Megan sucked in a breath, her lips parting, and their gazes locked. Then it was like Scarlett had suddenly realized what she said, and she slid her hands out of Megan’s hair and backed away. “Your hair is cute just like it is. You don’t need to do anything to it.” She turned toward the mirror again and fumbled with her makeup bag. Was it Megan’s imagination, or were Scarlett’s hands shaking? “You, uh, ever think about cutting it?” Scarlett asked.
Megan was still rattled and warm all over. It took her a moment to process Scarlett’s words. “Oh. Yeah, actually. Sometimes I think about a pixie cut. Cutting all of it off. But I get nervous.”
“It’s a big step. But you’ve got the perfect heart-shaped face for it.” Scarlett glanced over, then back at the mirror. “If you ever want to do it, there’s probably a million great salons along our road trip. Could be a fun change. And it grows back.”
She was talking fast. Megan was having a hard time thinking. “Yeah. Maybe. I’ll…do my makeup.”
She had the new makeup from Sephora to try, and while it wasn’t her area of expertise, she put together what she hoped was a good look—not super fancy, but she didn’t end up looking like a clown, either. When she returned from the bathroom, Scarlett was done.
“What about lipstick?” Scarlett asked.
“I’m wearing some.” Megan resisted the urge to touch her lips in reflex.
Scarlett frowned. “Nude?”
“It’s light pink.”
“You need a bold lip. Something really red. It would bring the whole look together.”
“I don’t have anything really red.” Megan stuck with all light pinks whenever she got makeup, which wasn’t very often. Red was showy and ostentatious, and she wasn’t the type of person to try to get noticed.
Scarlett rummaged in her bag and pulled out a lipstick. “Here. Let me.” She touched Megan’s chin, gently tilting her head back, and then began to apply the lipstick with focused precision. Megan tried not to shiver as Scarlett held her face perfectly still, her attention locked onto Megan’s lips. When she finished, they held that pose, and desire flared up in Megan like a flashover. She wanted to lean forward and ruin that perfect lipstick against Scarlett’s berry-red mouth.

REAL MEN KNIT

When their foster-turned-adoptive mother suddenly dies, four brothers struggle to keep open the doors of her beloved Harlem knitting shop.

Jesse Strong is known for two things: his devotion to his adoptive mom, Mama Joy, and his reputation for breaking hearts. When Mama Joy unexpectedly passes away, he and his brothers have different plans for what to do with Strong Knits, their neighborhood knitting store. Jesse wants to keep the store open. His brothers want to tie off loose ends and close shop....

Part-time shop employee Kerry Fuller has kept her crush on Jesse a secret. When she overhears his impassioned plea to his brothers to keep the knitting shop open, she volunteers to help. Unlike Jesse, Kerry knows the “knitty-gritty” of the business, and together they make plans to reinvent Strong Knits for a new generation.

But the more time they spend together, the stronger the chemistry builds between them. Kerry, knowing Jesse’s history, doesn’t believe their relationship can last longer than she can knit one, purl two. But Jesse is determined to prove to her that he can be the man for her forever and always. After all, real men knit.

Liza's Review:

Real Men Knit is the first book about the Strong brothers in what I hope is the first book in a series. Real Men Knits centers around the Strong Knits neighborhood knitting store which was run by the Strong brothers' adoptive mom Mama Joy, and around the youngest of the 4 brothers, Jesse. Jesse is a bit of a playboy and hasn't ever really shown that he is on the path to settling down or even really having a career in mind. So when Mama Joy unexpectedly passes away, the brothers are all surprised when Jesse wants to make a go of keeping the store open.

Enter Kerry Fuller, who has worked part-time in the knitting shop for years and doesn't want to see it close any more than Jesse, and offers up her assistance to help Jesse get the store back up and running. Kerry has had a crush of Jesse since they were kids, even though each of the Strong brothers has always seen her as more of a little sister. I loved that Jesse finally started seeing Kerry as an attractive woman the more time they spent together. I loved the slow burn of this relationship, and the fact they really became real friends first. I got the feeling while they had always been in each other's lives, they hadn't really been friends until they started working to save Strong Knits. Jesse seemed to be so laid back when we first meet him, so I understood his brothers all questioning his dedication to getting the shop up and running and back in the black. I loved how much he grew over the course of the story from basically a playboy to a real business man. He had such wonderful ideas for the store, and I loved that Kerry not only believed in him, but helped him make them a reality. I also loved that Kerry didn't lose herself in helping out Jesse. She stayed true to herself and her own goals, yet made the adjustments needed to have Jesse in her life.

I really loved the relationship between the 4 brothers. Damian is a total control freak, Lucas seems to need some measure of control, yet not as much as Damian. I felt like Noah and Jesse were more the laid back of the 4 brothers. I loved how they picked on each other as all siblings do, yet had each other's backs when needed. I also felt like them coming together to save Strong Knits helped them to grow closer to one another.

Real Men Knits was a very enjoyable story. I will say that I ended up loving Kerry and Jesse as a couple, and feel like they were on a good path to their very own HEA. I loved while Strong Knits is in Harlem, yet the entire area felt almost like a small town. I loved how everyone in the neighborhood seemed to take care of their own, and that especially included keeping Strong Knits going. Real Men Knits was filled with humor, love, and redemption, and I really can't wait to read more books about all the Strong brothers.

HOW TO DATE A YOUNGER MAN RELEASE BLITZ

How to Date a Younger Man
By Kendall Ryan
Release Day: July 21, 2020

About the Book

Tips for Surviving a Fling with a Sexy Younger Man

First, you’d think as a thirty-something-year-old woman, I’d be immune to Griffin’s flirty comments and six-pack abs. You’d think that his carefree playboy attitude, or the fact that he’s still finishing grad school, would deter me.

You’d be wrong.

If you accidentally bang your best friend’s younger brother, here are a few important tips . . .

One: Do not brag to your friend about how well-endowed her brother is.

Two: Do not go back for seconds (or thirds).

Three: Do not let him see your muffin top or jiggly behind. And definitely don’t let him feed you cookies in bed. Cookies are bad. Remember that.

Four: Act like a damn grown-up and apologize for riding him like a bull at the rodeo. And do not flirt with him when he laughs at said apology.

Five: This one is crucial, so pay attention.

Do not, under any circumstances, fall in love with him.
