Liza’s Review:

I love a good second change romance story. I will say it pissed me off at how long Moira had pushed Gideon away, especially when it was obvious to everyone who knew them how much they loved each other. I get she felt guilty about her argument with her mom the night her parents died, but I didn't like she punished both herself and Gideon for so many years because of guilt. I loved that Moira and Gideon's chemistry had never really gone away, and once they were back as a couple, they had a hard time keeping their hands off each other.

I adored the fact that we got to spend time with the other McKay siblings and their significant others in The Right Kind of Trouble. Yes I felt like the romance between Moira and Gideon was center stage overall, but without including Moira's siblings in the story, I don't feel like it would have been as strong. The mystery that started out in Headed for Trouble came to a head in The Right Kind of Trouble. I had my suspicions as to who was behind everything, and I was correct. However, I was completely off in my guess as to why this person was behind everything.  I seriously love how Ms. Walker's mind works when it comes to the romantic suspense genre. She seems to always keep me guessing as to the reason, even when I've already figured out the bad guy.

The Right Kind of Trouble was the perfect wrap up to The McKay's series. I really don't feel like The Right Kind of Trouble should be read as a stand-alone story, as to get the full effect of the story, you need to read the first 2 books in the series first. Ms. Walker gives her readers a beautiful second chance romance with a strong suspenseful mystery.

I am a huge fan of Shiloh Walker's books, and especially her romantic suspense stories. I fell in love with The McKay's series with the very first book. I couldn't wait to read Brannon and Hannah's book, as I wanted them together as soon as we met them in Headed for Trouble.

I'll be honest and say I was worried about how Ms. Walker would pull off an amnesia story, especially when it was revealed Hannah was pregnant, but I never should have worried. I found myself pulled in from the very beginning and loved watching Hannah and Brannon figure out how to manage their new relationship. I loved that even not remembering part of her past, Hannah instinctively knew Brannon was a very important person in her life. I loved that Brannon was getting a second chance to make things right with Hannah while they are spending more time together. My only issue was Brannon not being honest sooner with Hannah sooner about everything that had gone on in their past. I did however love how great their chemistry was whether they were making love or just spending time together. I also love that even though Brannon had never told Hannah how much he loved her in the past, he had loved her every bit as long as she had loved him.

Shiloh Walker loves to throw her readers off on "who is the bad guy" in her romantic suspense books. I absolutely love that she throws so many twist and turns into the story. I have an idea as to the bad guy is in this trilogy, but my feelings could be off as I really don't like this particular character at all. I can't wait to read The Right Kind of Trouble to find out if my guess is correct. I also can't wait to read The Right Kind of Trouble to finally get Moira and Gideon's story, as I've wanted to read their story from the moment I met them in Headed For Trouble.

I liked where Ms. Walker took us in phase 2 of the mystery in The Trouble With Temptation. I honestly don't feel like readers will get as much out of the mystery portion of the story by reading it as a stand-alone story, but do think the romance portion of the story works as a stand alone story. I'm tend not to read books in a series out of order, so I highly recommend reading The McKay's series in order.

Liza’s Review:

I'm a huge fan of Shiloh Walker and especially love her romantic suspense novels. Headed for Trouble hit every single one of my favorite elements in her books.

First let me say how much I absolutely loved both Neve and Ian as individuals and as a couple. While Neve doesn't see herself as very strong, she is hands down one of the strongest characters in this book. She has been through hell and back and is not only still standing, but living again. Yes she has some major issues to still work through, but I felt she only grew stronger as the story progressed. Ian Campbell totally makes me sigh a dreamy sigh. I loved that he totally got Neve from the beginning and wanted to love and protect her even before he knew all the facts from her past. I also really loved that he really did try to stay away from Neve when he found out she was his best friend's Brannon's younger sister. It was super sweet and totally unnecessary, but I still loved it. The chemistry between Neve and Ian was also off the charts hot and only grew hotter the more time they spent together.

I also loved watching Neve reconnect with her sister Moira and her brother Brannon. She left after a huge argument years ago and has very little contact with her family since she left home. While part of it was her fault initially, her ex-boyfriend William was the main reason. I seriously wanted to drop kick him off the side of a cliff even before I knew everything he had done to Neve and more so after finding out more about his history. Seriously I loved to hate this character so much. I wasn't a very big fan of Moira's ex-husband Charles either and really think there is more to him than what we were shown in Headed for Trouble.

I did however love Gideon, who is Moira's ex-boyfriend from high school and Neve's friend as well as Hannah, who was friends with Neve in high school and has always had a crush on Brannon. I can't wait to see what happens between Brannon and Hannah and Moira and Gideon in the next two books in the series.

Headed for Trouble was a great start for the newest trilogy from Shiloh Walker. I found myself falling more in love with each of the main characters as I read and trying to figure out everything that was going on in the background as well.
