Are You Ready For Some Football?!?
Tonight is the first pre-season game for my Tennessee Titans! I'm so excited to watch my guys playing in the Hall of Fame Game in Canton, Ohio against the Buffalo Bills. Even though it is only an exhibition game, I can't wait to see our starters play a couple of series and see what the rookies have to bring to the team. Go Titans!

Rest in Peace Steve McNair
Former Tennessee Titan Steve McNair was found shot to death in a downtown condo in Nashville, Tennessee yesterday afternoon. The Nashville police have now ruled his death as a homicide. The Titans became my team when the then Houston Oilers moved to Tennessee. They became the Tennessee Oilers and played one year in Memphis before moving to Nashville, and playing one year at Vanderbilt before moving to their stadium home at The Coliseum, and becoming the Tennessee Titans. McNair (our #9) was the heart and soul of the team and played even when he was too injured to practice. Even once he left the Titans, he has always had a presence in Nashville. Only a few weeks ago, he had opened a restaurant over by the TSU campus to help out the community. He hosted football camps every year, would always stop to have his picture taken with a fan, and was seen around the city on a regular basis.
With all the speculation surrounding his death, I hope that everyone remembers all the good he has done on and off the field for so many years.
Goodbye Steve "Air" McNair. You will always be missed!

Tennessee Titans AFC South Champs
I have to brag on my Titans again today. The Tennessee Titans, who are never given any props from any of the NFL commentators, won the AFC South yesterday. My Titans are now 12-1 and going for home-field advantage in the playoffs. With only 3 more regular season games, the Titans are looking very strong right now.
WTG Titans!!!

TN Titans 10-0
I'm so proud of my Tennessee Titans!!! Best record in franchise history with 10-0. It was a very tough win against the Jacksonville Jags, but we came back in the second half to pull out and 24-14 victory! With the 10-0 start, the Titans should make the playoffs this year, now we just have to work towards home field advantage. WTG to all the Titans!!!

TN Titans 9-0 baby!!!
I'm so proud of my Tennessee Titans who after Sunday's win are now 9-0!!! We have been a team that can only win with the run and managed to have the run shut down and still pulled out a win. WTG Kerry Collins for having an amazing air game! I'm so proud of my guys this week! Our big challenge comes when we head to Jacksonville this week to play a division rival. I'll be proud win or lose, but would really love to put another check in the W column.

Tennessee Titans 8-0
I usually only blog about books I've read, am reading, or plan to read. However, not only did my mother pass on her love of books to me, she gave me my love of sports too...especially football. I've always loved professional football, and as soon as the Houston Oilers were given to the state of Tennessee I became an immediate fan. We went from being the Houston Oilers to the Tennessee Oilers to finally the Tennessee Titans.
As Titans we have had Super Bowl years and 3-13 years, but I've always been a fan. This year our Titans are the number one team in the AFC and remain the only undefeated time in the entire NFL. We had a very close game that came down to an over-time field goal, but I'm so proud and excited for my Titans!!!
