I've read other books in the past
from Misty Evans, but had somehow missed the first book in the Shadow Force
International series. I had not trouble picking up and reading Fatal Honor as a stand-alone
story.
Fatal Honor was
a really fast read for me. I'm a big fan of the romantic suspense genre and
felt like Fatal Honor touched on all
the right buttons. Charlotte is such a strong character. She has basically
survived hell and still wants to protect all those people she cares about no
matter what it takes. I also absolutely adored her relationship with Miles. Yes
it started out with both of them keeping secrets from one another, but I really
loved their chemistry and totally saw them finding a way to make a relationship
work.
Misty Evans gives her readers a great
read with Fatal Honor. There is just
enough suspense in the story to keep you on the edge of your seat at times and
the romance totally worked for me. I can't wait to read the next book in the
series and plan to go back and read the first one very soon.

Love it. As harsh a life as Charlotte has lived and with all that Miles has lived through they still maintain sense of humor that makes them feel more human and real. Wonderful suspense and beautiful romance. Misty Evans is a master writer.
