Book Summary:

What if a pair of cowboy boots could foretell true love?

For years, Texas gal Greer Maddox waited to inherit her legacy as the next prophecy bootmaker. But that day never came. Now, instead of living out her rightful destiny, she’s lost, restlessly jumping from one art project to the next.

Until the day leather tooler Alejandro Villanueva strolls into town looking like ten kinds of sexy trouble.

After surviving his dark and dangerous past, all Alex wants is a quiet future. Alone, where his former life and mistakes can’t hurt anyone else. Even casually screwing around with a girl next door like Greer—whose dulce de leche voice and curvy body make him sweat—is a bad idea. But when she gets involved in his attempts to win the Prophecy Boot Company’s tooling contract, waving adios is the last thing on his mind.

Their attraction flares hot and undeniable. He wants her, and even knowing he shouldn’t have her can’t stop him from indulging in the temptation she offers. But when his past comes calling, he is forced to choose between hiding from his sins, or saving the woman he loves.

Praise for A Love to Last, book #1 in the Prophecy of Love series:

“A LOVE TO LAST was an interesting, unique and fun start to Ms. Browning's new series, and you can bet I'll be requesting future books the second they're available!”
- The Romance Reviews

“This story was a refreshing change of pace for me and so unlike anything else I have read in quite a while. It had everything a good second chance romance story should have and then some, and I think it is safe to say Ms. Browning has a hit on her hands with this one!!”
- Red’s Romance Reviews

“Kelsey Browning is one of my favorite authors because she pulls me so far into her stories, I don't mind missing out on sleep to keep reading her story, or even waking up in the middle of the night to finish reading her story. She is an amazing storyteller and A Love to Last was another winner for me.”
- Blogging by Liza

“The story is well balanced with a lot of laughs, a few tears, a sweet and spicy, and deeply romantic love story, which is topped off by a fanciful atmosphere that gave the reader a feeling of anticipation and expectation, which kept it from becoming predictable. A solid beginning to what I hope will be a long running series.”
- The Book Review

“A+ rating. This book...I sat on my couch reading it one Sunday morning with my husband sitting beside me. I drove him crazy raving about just how good and creative this book is that entire morning. I loved it so much.”
- Smitten with Reading

“From the time I picked up A Love to Last, to finishing the final page, I was in my happy place.”

Liza’s Review:

I'm a huge fan of Kelsey Browning and was so excited to read her newest book in her Prophecy of Love series early. I absolutely adored book one, A Love to Last, and have to say A Passion to Pursue was just as wonderful.

I was so excited Greer was getting her book next in the series. I really felt like she was at loose ends when she figured out she wasn't the right person to be the next prophecy bootmaker, and I wanted her to find her true purpose. While her brother Cal and Delaney, the new prophecy bootmaker have found where they fit, it was perfect timing for Greer to figure out where she fits into Prophecy.

Greer is one of the strongest and gutsiest heroines I've read in a long time. She knows what she wants and isn't really afraid to do what needs doing to get what she wants. She is at a crossroads in her life, as the different types of art she has been focusing on just really don't feed her passion any longer. However, when she comes up with the idea of a contest between the top 3 leather toolers to compete for the job with Prophecy Boot Company, it is her way to keep Alex Villanueva in town, and a way for her to find her passion in the arts again,

I absolutely loved the instant attraction between Greer and Alex. They had off the charts chemistry from the very first moment they met. While he had lots of baggage from his past that he used as a wall between him in the world, Greer had very little problem in knocking it down. I really wanted to give Alex a hug so many times as we learned more and more about his past. He made a mistake just as any other person could have done, except he let it effect the rest of his life. He was so worried about another person he loved getting hurt, he tried to push everyone away. Luckily for the reader, Greer was having none of that and even helped him connect with other residents of Prophecy.

A Passion to Pursue is perfect for readers who love an emotional and sexy romance. Kelsey Browning's voice pulls me in from the very first page. She took me on a roller coaster ride with my emotions and I feel like the romance was so much stronger for what Alex and Greer had to go through to finally be together. Not only did they both find their purpose for their careers, but with the friends, families, and each other.

Liza’s Review:

Amanda Abbott is a new-to-me author. When I was contacted about reviewing Sun Kissed, I really liked the premise of the story and couldn't wait to start reading it.

While I enjoyed Sun Kissed, it honestly took me over half way through the book to really connect with the heroine. I liked Mallory, but she really seemed a little self-absorbed at the beginning of the book. I honestly like to connect to both the hero and the heroine much sooner, but kept reading, as I absolutely loved the hero, Patrick.

I liked Patrick and Mallory as a couple and loved they really didn't know much about the other when they first met. With Mallory being a supermodel and Patrick being an NHL hockey player, it was nice for them to start falling for one another without the outside world getting in the way. I loved the chemistry between them and felt like they had an instant attraction. I did love that Mallory was very open about being a big fan of sex and had no issues with her sexuality, and the sex scenes between Mallory and Patrick were super hot.

I did end up enjoying Sun Kissed and even want to read other books in the series. My only issues were the story started off a little slow and it took me longer than normal to connect with the heroine. However, once I got into the story and connected with the heroine, it moved pretty fast.

Liza’s Review:

I've wanted Lucy Sinclair to get her own book since we first met the Sinclair family. I knew after everything her ex-husband had put her through, and the fact that she had a child, it was going to take a special man to get Lucy to accept him in their lives. Benji Paxton is just the man to take on both Lucy and her daughter Angie and never look back.

I absolutely loved Benji so very much. I'd missed meeting him in Overtime, as I somehow skipped it, and I loved that Ms. Aleo completed filled us in on his background. I found Benji to be such a strong, sweet, determined and sexy character. He also was absolutely amazing with Angie and I'm pretty sure I fell in love with him right along with Lucy and Angie.

Lucy honestly can best be described as a ball-buster, yet there really is so much more. After learning more about her past with her ex-husband and seeing how her dad leaving the family affected her, I totally got her putting on such a strong front. She will do anything on earth to protect Angie and those people she loves. I loved the instant attraction between Lucy and Benji and totally got her being so very hesitant to move forward with anything, but was so glad Benji made sure he stayed in the picture.

I'll be honest and say I absolutely wanted to kick Lucy's ex-husband in his junk more than once when he was around both Lucy and Angie. I don't think I've ever hated a character so much in any book. I was so happy that Lucy and Angie had won the lottery with great guys when Benji entered their lives. I really loved how sweet he was with Angie. I also loved the sweet moments between Benji and Lucy. He made my heart melt over and over again with the little things he did to show his love.

The chemistry between Lucy and Benji was obvious from the first moment they met and I absolutely loved they had to fight to keep their hands off each other. I loved how much they wanted each other whether in a sweet slow love making scene or up against the wall can't get enough of each other scene. Lucy and Benji made me fall in love with them as a couple.

Rushing the Goal was such a fun and sexy read. I fall in love with each couple in all of Ms. Aleo's books, and it was no different with Lucy and Benji. While I'm sad this is the last book that will focus on the Sinclair clan, I absolutely loved seeing Lucy finally find a man worthy of her love.
