My 40th Birthday...Gifts For You

I’m turning 40 on Saturday, October 29th. My friends and I celebrated as a group, as we all 7 turn 40 within one calendar year, in Vegas at the first of the month. I decided that to celebrate turning 40, I would give away some of my favorite books that have been released this year. I’ll be giving away 4 books in some of my favorite romance genres (1 book for each decade). I will giveaway digital copies (1 in each genre), Kindle of course is the easiest since you can gift those books, but will email a gift card for cost of digital copy for Nook, Sony, or Kobo. Please let me know which book(s) you would like to win in the comment section, and why. Also, please tell me how you celebrated your favorite birthday. I’d love for you to follow my blog as well, but that is not required to enter. Please include email address if not listed in your profile. Giveaway will run from October 28 – November 2. I’ll use random.org to pick the winners for each category. I'll email all winners, as well as post all winners in a separate post. Winners will have 7 days to respond or new winner(s) will be drawn.

**As I know these books are not all new releases, if you have the book I’m giving away, I’ll be happy to buy a backlist book by the author or pre-order the next book in the series by that author.**

Contemporary Romance
My favorite contemporary romance I’ve read this year is Serendipity by Carly Phillips.

Romantic Suspense
My favorite romantic suspense book I’ve read this year is Cold Touch by Leslie Parrish.

Paranormal Romance/Urban Fantasy
My favorite paranormal romance/urban fantasy book I’ve read this year is Dragon Bound by Thea Harrison.

Historical Romance

Ok, when it comes to historical romances, I had too much trouble picking one book. So I’m giving away any historical romance book by either Tessa Dare or Maya Banks. Please let me know which author and book you would like in the comments.

Wow, do I have to choose? I want them all! I have In Bed With a Highlander already, so at least there's one down, right? :)

I'm an email follower, and I'm also a GFC follower as well. Twitter too. I think I might stalk you a little bit. ;)

Happy 40th! :)

For my 40th, a couple/few years ago now (sigh) my husband took me away for the weekend. We stayed in a fancy suite and went to comedy shows (there was a festival on) and had lovely romantic dinners. Child stayed with his grandparents. Very nice weekend.

I'd love the latest Tessa Dare. Kindle is fine.

Happy Birthday! I hope this year rocks for you!

I have a tie for great birthdays. For my 30th my parents threw me a surprise party and I was able to spend time with so many of my friends and family.

For my 35th this year I wound up having an impromptu birthday dinner with some of my oldest and closest friends and their families.

As for you fabulous offer I have only read Carly Phillips and Maya Banks. I would the the Carly Phillips book, I havn't started that series yet! As for the Maya Banks, I have finished the entire series and recommend it to everyone!

I hope you had a wonderful birthday!! My best birthday was when I turned 23. I was in the Peace Corps, and wasn't expecting my friends to do anything. They held a birthday party and had a cake. It was just a nice surprise!

I love to win Serendipity by Carly Phillips~I've heard such great things about it.

Happiest of birthdays, and best wishes for more of them!

A few years ago, a group of friends "kidnapped" me and took me out to a local fair and then for a nice dinner afterwards. I loved that it was a complete surprise. :)

I already have these books, but I wouldn't mind In Bed with a Highlander in ebook format, or a preorder of the next book in the series if that's possible.

Happy Birthday. Thanks for the giveaway. One of my favorite birthdays was when my cousin gave me a ticket to Amsterdam. Please enter me for Maya and Carly's book. I'm a fan of Maya's erotic romance, but haven't tried her historicals yet.

I have a Kindle. I'd love to win A Night to Surrender by Tessa Dare because historical romance is my favorite genre!

My favorite birthday was last year when me and my twin sister went to Las Vegas to celebrate together.

I turned 65 on Oct 29 - so happy bday to us. My friends surprised me on Sat by stopping by with all kinds of breakfast goodies. They rang the bell at 8AM and I was only up about 15 mins and in my pjs. It was fun and I did not have to do a thing. My mom was there too as we were going out with my husband and daughter and her family later on for an early dinner.

All in all it was great.

I would love to have Serendipty as I love Carly's books or The Leslie Parrish book as it sounds good.

My happiest birthday was/ is when my husband and my children take me out to dinner. We always have fun. Can't do it every year, but I love it when we can.
I would so live to win Dragon Bound! I have the newest book in the series, and it's the only one that I have read. Thanks for the giveaway. And have the happiest B'day evah!

Thanks for all the birthday wishes! I was a bit afraid I would freak out turning 40, since i had no problems turning 30. However, it was an awesome birthday weekend. Had dinner with friends, family, and even a costume party. Also had some of the best cheesecake, cupcakes, and birthday cake ever.

I'm drawing names now and will post the winners as well as email the winners later today. Thanks to everyone who stopped by to enter and share their own bday memories.
